To suit the Action to the Word, the Word to the Action

Right now, the focus at DF Acting is on Shakespeare – building up articles on speaking his verse and related matters that arise.

For instance, the first article for your perusal is all about starting to work with iambic pentameter and an example for this uses the last two lines of Sonnet 18 (“Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?”). This led to fascinating online findings for the sonnet and so a new article all about it, with multimedia links, came into being.

So, enjoy these goodies by viewing the Acting Shakespeare post:

Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?

Have fun!
